Hello Slip Owners and Renters,
The boating season is fast approaching and thanks to the very mild winter in Wisconsin the docks seem to be just as we left them. Electric and water will be turned on in early April depending on the weather. We will update everybody as we get closer. Garbage service will also resume mid April. Feel free to contact me if you are planning an early launch for service updates. Please remember to visit our new website (lstmarina.com) and also join our new Facebook page(lstmarina). Reminder that shower lockers are available to owners and renters for a refundable $25.00 deposit per locker.
The gate code to the west parking deck has changed. The code is changing due to the necessary removal of the now defunct silver keypad to eliminate confusion at the front deck entrance. Your fobs and remotes will continue to work and open the gate with no changes.
Additionally, this season we will eliminate the keyed locks for the Dock Carts and switch to 4 digit locks. Please store this number in your phone so that you have it when you need it.
Our annual slip owners meeting will be held Saturday June 8, 2024 @10:00 am in the large party room at Lakeshore Towers. There will be one open position on the Board of Directors so please let us know if you have interest in getting on the ballot. We will again have a kickoff luncheon following on the docks. Lunch is open to all owners, renters and guests. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE
This year's annual meeting will have a number of vital topics as we get closer to replacing our marina. We may have some items that will require a vote as well as items needing important input from the owners.
We do anticipate a fair amount of activity in the marina this summer as we prepare for the removal of the docks this coming fall. At this time, demolition is scheduled for late October or November. Any items left on your dock after your boat comes out will be discarded so please plan ahead. We would like to begin the process of removing dock boxes ahead of time and if you will not have a boat in your slip this season we ask that you please stop in this spring or early summer to remove your items.
Lastly, attached photo is a view of our marina from the new apartments next to Lakeshore Towers. As you can imagine, with new restaurants on the river and new management at Festival Park, we anticipate a very busy summer.
